Ecografia morfologica
Esame ecografico dettagliato del feto per valutare lo sviluppo anatomico e rilevare eventuali anomalie. Non invasivo, sicuro e fondamentale per il monitoraggio della gravidanza.
What it examines
A fetal morphology ultrasound primarily examines the fetus’s anatomical development during pregnancy. It can assess:
-
The structure of major organs and systems (heart, brain, kidneys, stomach, bladder, spine and more)
-
Facial features (nose, upper lip and jaw)
-
The position of the placenta and umbilical cord
-
The amount of amniotic fluid
-
The fetus’s growth and proportions in relation to gestational age
It is an important examination for identifying possible congenital abnormalities and monitoring fetal development.
What does it detect?
A fetal morphology ultrasound assesses the fetus’s health and anatomical development. In particular, it can evaluate:
-
The structure of major organs (heart, brain, kidneys, stomach, bladder and lungs)
-
The spine and spinal cord
-
Facial features (nose, upper lip and jaw)
-
The position and condition of the placenta
-
The amount of amniotic fluid
-
The fetus’s growth and proportions in relation to gestational age
-
Possible congenital abnormalities or malformations
In short, it is an important diagnostic tool for monitoring fetal development and identifying possible problems early.
