TATUAGGIO AREOLA
Domande frequenti (FAQ)
Breast micropigmentation is a medical tattooing technique that restores the appearance and colour of the nipple-areola complex after procedures such as mastectomy, breast augmentation or breast lift. Biocompatible pigments are deposited in the superficial dermis using a tattoo machine to correct scars or imperfections or recreate the natural appearance of the areola. The procedure may also help improve the patient's psychological wellbeing.
Breast dermopigmentation begins with disinfecting and mapping the area. A preliminary design is then prepared and, once approved, filled in with biocompatible pigments using a dermograph with sterile needles. Local anesthesia is generally used to reduce discomfort. The procedure usually takes 60–90 minutes, although the duration may vary, and multiple sessions are often needed.
